Alexander Dennis has delivered nine new Enviro200 midi and full-size single deckers to Carousel Buses, a part of the Go-Ahead Group.
The order consists of six 8.9-metre midibuses and three 11.8-metre single deckers offering seating for up to 30 & 43 passengers respectively.

Each bus has room for a wheelchair user, as well as a dedicated buggy bay and has been equipped with accessible passenger information, including audio-visual stop announcements.
Four of the 8.9m buses have been painted in a bespoke purple livery for use on Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead-supported services 3, 3A, 4 and 9 in and around Maidenhead, with the three 11.8m buses set to enter operation on services 37 and 10/10A operating across the Borough, as well as providing links to the nearby towns of High Wycombe and Staines.
The two remaining shorter buses have been painted in the operator’s standard red livery, and will enter operation across its Carousel County services throughout Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
Each vehicle delivered utilises Alexander Dennis’s SmartPack technology in order to reduce carbon and exhaust emissions via the a combination of a stop-start function and cylinder engines with e-cooling and smart auxiliary load management.
