Liveried in Taw and Torridge’s own colour scheme; the Enviro200’s tailored interior offers seating for up to 40 passengers, with five tip-up seats in the wheelchair and separate buggy bay.

The vehicle is fully equipped with Alexander Dennis’s SmartPack efficiency techonolgy, which aims to reduce operations costs through lower fuel consumption and eligibility for Bus Service Operators Grant (BSOG) incentive payments.

Taw & Torridge Managing Director Mark Hunt said:

We’re delighted to upgrade our customers’ journeys this year with this brand new Enviro200 single decker that Alexander Dennis has built to our specification. This allows us to reallocate the similar bus we bought in 2021 from core journeys on our popular service 31 to supporting duties.

The Enviro200 is a great fit for our service routes, delivering efficiency and substantial passenger capacity in a vehicle that navigates North Devon’s narrow and steep lanes with ease.
