The expertise and experience of SERMEC technicians are the result of over 100 years of history, handed down from generation to generation. The family company was founded in 1896, developing year after year to become a mechanical workshop for cars and heavy commercial vehicles, now partners of the major brands in the sector. SERMEC, a Ricci Industries Company, soon became an international benchmark for remanufacturing. It is now a strategic partner for Powertrain, Driveline and Chassis Technology for industrial vehicles, with remanufactured manual, automated and automatic gearboxes, differential and rear axles, steering systems, retarders and braking devices, control units (CPU).
The portfolio also includes products for passenger cars: in addition to hydraulic and mechanical steerings, in 2007 SERMEC (first in the world) presented a program of reengineered electric power steering (EPS).
Since 2017 SERMEC Race Division is officially supporting the European Truck Racing Championship, technical partner with products proven for race.
