Yutong will deploy 723 customised buses to serve the public in Morocco during this year’s 35th African International Football Tournament.

The company recently held a ceremony at its electric bus production base for the first batch of 723 buses destined for Morocco, with attendants including representatives from the Moroccan clients, Yutong executives and media outlets.

The buses, which have been wrapped in livery displaying tournament-themed graphics, were unveiled and driven from the assembly line to mark their official launch on 12 September.

Di Bei, CPO of Yutong Bus, said:

This delivery is not only about delivering vehicles. It’s a key milestone in Yutong’s global strategy and our deepening partnership with the Moroccan market.

Each bus has been designed by Yutong’s Research & Development team to withstand Morocco’s diverse conditions, with the fleet designed to last for up to 20 years, or 2 million kilometres.

Yutong has also implemented a full service plan for the Tournament, which includes the deployment of a team of more than 100 professionals providing 24/7 support for operations, training, spare part supply and technical assistance.
