Meanwhile, Ikarus will present two buses: the V4 version of its 12-metre Ikarus 120e electric city bus and an 8-metre electric midi bus.

Ikarus has a partnership with Siemens and will also display the company’s latest e-Line smart pantographs on its stand.

Roland Fehér, CEO of Ikarus said:

“We are pleased that Ikarus is making its first appearance at InnoTrans. The event is a great opportunity for us to present our technical progress and discuss potential partnerships for driving the future of sustainable transport and develop new business leads. We look forward to face-to-face meetings.”

InnoTrans will take place from 24 to 27 September. The event will include a Public Transport & Interiors segment covering a display area of around 40,000 m². The exhibit will present innovations such as new drive systems and engines, interiors, air-conditioning, and timetable management for bus fleets.

In addition to BYD and Ikarus, manufacturers such as Arthur Bus, Ebusco, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, Neso Bus and K-Bus will exhibit at the event. A 12-metre DB Regio AG electric ShowBus will also operate on the grounds.

Bus presentations will take place on the 500-metre-long Demonstration Course, where visitors will be able to take test drives.

Meanwhile, companies such as Daimler Buses will be represented in the hall displays.

Furthermore, charging infrastructure providers, Mont-Ele and SBRS will display their charging solutions for zero-emission buses, while Ventura Systems will exhibit its ultra-modern entry systems.
