Coach operator FlixBus is marking its fourth year of operations in the UK with a significant expansion of its national network.
The company has announced new routes and destinations set to roll out this spring, further strengthening its presence across England and Wales.

From Thursday 17 April, FlixBus will introduce services to Cheltenham, Gloucester, Swindon and Norwich. These additions bring the network to over 80 UK destinations.
Further expansion will follow in mid-May, with new connections to Bath, Chippenham, Newquay, Weston-super-Mare, Bournemouth, Southampton and Poole.
In addition to new destinations, the operator is increasing service frequency on existing routes. Key cities such as London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol, Cardiff and Hull will benefit from more frequent journeys, aimed at improving accessibility and travel options for passengers.
Notably, according to figures from the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT), an additional coach service per day can contribute around 1 million GBP annually to local economies.
Andreas Schorling, Senior Managing Director of FlixBus UK, said:Travel is fun and should be for everyone! FlixBus is making it so easy enjoy trips across the country to see loved ones and explore new places on the smallest of budgets.
We have come so far in four years, and we’re incredibly proud of the network we’re delivering for our passengers and the economic impact we have on local communities. The popularity of our services has been nothing short of phenomenal and we continue growing to meet demand.
By the height of summer, more than 200 FlixBus vehicles are expected to operate across England, Scotland and Wales. The company reports strong growth since launching in 2021 and has earned positive passenger feedback, including a high TrustPilot rating, reflecting the quality of its service and onboard experience.
