Harris Bus & Coach has launched the new Higer Azure 9 diesel bus at Euro Bus Expo 2026 in Birmingham.
The vehicle marks Harris Bus & Coach’s first introduction into the mainstream bus market in the UK and Ireland, and has been positioned as a ‘serious competitor’ to existing options available today.
Measuring 8.9 metres in length; the bus is equipped with a 4.5-litre Cummins B4.5 diesel engine, and is capable of carrying up to seated 63 passengers via the use of a mix of both fixed and tip-up/folding seats.
Each vehicle features air suspension on both axles, disc brakes & Wabco EBS, and offers prospective customers a three-year/300,000km manufacturers warranty.
The range is expected to launch in early 2027, and the first vehicle has been sold to Shuttle Buses LTD.
Elsewhere at the show, Harris Bus & Coach is showcasing its V10 mid-size coach, as well as the V12 – which is wrapped in FlixBus livery.
