Karsan has announced an executive leadership transition, with Okan Baş, who has served as CEO and Executive Board Member of Karsan for the past ten years, stepping down from his roles in order to focus on a ‘new chapter in his professional career’.
Baş will now be replaced by Utku Can Ayyarkın, Group CEO of Kıraça Holding and Member of the Karsan Board of Directors. Ayyarkun will serve as both CEO and an Executive Board Member of Karsan following a decision made by the Karsan Board of Directors.

The Karsan Board of Directors has extended its ‘sincere appreciation’ to Baş for his ‘invaluable’ contributions to the company as a whole.
Stepping into the CEO role; Utku Can Ayyarkın is set to bring 22 years of experience within the logistics industry, as well as leadership experience, operational knowledge and strategic management expertise.
