Masats will participate in the UITP Summit, to be held in Hamburg from 15 to 18 June 2025.

Masats stands out in the industry for its ability to offer integrated door and ramp solutions, ensuring safe, comfortable and seamless access for all passengers. This integration optimizes vehicle operability and improves service, while enhancing the user experience, offering a complete solution in terms of accessibility.

A close-up of a red city bus with its accessibility ramp extended onto the pavement, showing interior space designated for wheelchair users and other passengers with mobility needs.

Among the most outstanding novelties, Masats will be exhibiting the 029g2 electric door, an inward-opening door system. A door that responds to the need for weight reduction in vehicles and also provides a greater passage width, thus facilitating passenger access. It will be presented together with the new RD1 dual ramp, a versatile solution that combines an electric ramp with a manual ramp. This combination ensures the highest vehicle availability by allowing continuous operation of the ramp at all times and thus reducing waiting times.

Another of the innovations that Masats will showcase at the UITP Summit is the 028d sliding door, which incorporates the advanced Passenger Information System (PIS-L), offering an enhanced passenger experience. And alongside it, the new RE2b ramp, a wider, safer and smarter solution, will be unveiled. Designed not only for wheelchair users, but also for the visually impaired, the RE2b ramp ensures optimal inclination for smooth and effortless access, extending the width of the platform for greater passenger safety and comfort. The optional Passenger Information System (PIS-L), also integrated into the ramp platform, uses colour-coded red and green lighting to clearly indicate the status of both the door and the ramp, making access more intuitive and safer.

In addition, Masats will participate in the Congress, with a presentation on: Designing for All: Building Inclusive, Sustainable Transport Infrastructure and Vehicles.  Our colleague Marc Ball-Llosera will present the advances in Accessibility, on the 16th of June at 14:30 in the Expo Session in Hall A2.

Masats’ participation in the UITP Summit 2025 reaffirms its commitment to innovation and accessibility in public transport, offering solutions that improve the passenger experience and optimise the operational efficiency of transport operators
