At Prima Industries, our commitment to sustainability translates into a concrete action plan. Since 2016, guided by the ISO 14001 certification, we have been working to reduce our environmental impact.
Among the results achieved in recent years:
- Use of recycled material: Approximately 17% of the material in our production cycle is reground.
- Less plastic: Reduced use of plastic bags for packaging by 28% (-174 kg/year).
- Energy efficiency: Nearly halved energy consumption and CO2 emissions thanks to LED lighting.
- Less paper: Annual paper consumption reduced by 20% (and 2/3 fewer printers).
To improve further, in 2024 we initiated a detailed assessment to accurately measure the CO2 emissions of our production site, and we are defining targets and actions to be implemented for 2025 and 2026.
