At Busworld Europe 2025, Prima Industries unveiled its new wireless pushbutton system: the INSTASTOP.

A new pushbutton family has been on the pipeline for a while, and now it’s finally available on the market in three different versions:
- Classic wired
- Smart wired (with light, vibration, and buzzer)
- Wireless
The latter is undoubtedly the most interesting innovation and has already made its way into the North American market.
A brief look at the main technical features makes it clear that Instastop represents a disruptive product compared to the previous wireless system of Prima Industries.
- R10 Certification (including EMC tests);
- No battery is needed for the pushbuttons to work;
- One ECU is enough for articulated buses and even double-deckers;
- ECU reach about 25 meters;
- Up to 128 pushbuttons for one ECU;
- Up to 4 different channels available;
- Encrypted signal;
Instastop aims to become a great ally for all those manufacturers who need great flexibility in their work and on their assembly lines. No wires mean that you can decide at the very last moment how many pushbuttons you’ll need and where. Also, maintenance will be so easy thanks to the replaceable covers on all the pushbuttons.
What if you need to have backlighted buttons in the wheelchair positions? Instastop is part of a big, new family and doesn’t let anyone down.
With one single design, you are able to cover all the different needs inside the vehicle.
Wired pushbuttons are of course available in the classic version (P514) and also in the smart one with backlight, vibration, and buzzer (P513).
Today, also USB spots are a must-have on the vehicle and the Prima P515 USB charger is ready to answer the call!
All these products are available for wall and pole mounting, and a seat-integrated version of the P512 wireless is expected to be launched really soon.
If you didn’t have the chance to test the Instastop at Busworld, don’t worry.
