Fuel Cells and Hydrogen

Hydrogen is the fuel used by fuel cells in order to generate the electricity needed to power buses. The generated electricity can be stored in batteries on board the bus. Hydrogen fuel cell buses are an emerging technology in response to decarbonisation efforts as well as goals to reduce emissions within built-up areas. This section lists suppliers who supply hydrogen, manufacture fuel cells or who provide any other product or service associated with fuel cell technology for buses.
