Smart Software for Mobility and Efficiency

Under the brand PSItraffic, PSI Transcom GmbH develops and integrates process control solutions for public and local rail transport companies to ensure reliable, safe and efficient operations and maximum availability of vehicles and personnel.

This includes depot management systems, train management solutions and multi-client transport control systems (AVMS) with real-time passenger information for buses and rail transportation. With the integrated depot and charging management system PSIebus, we support transport companies in their transition to emission-free public transport.

With our software and many years of project experience, we provide optimal and efficient processes in transport companies.

We ensure that passengers using bus, tram and train reach their destination on-time and safely with the highest possible service quality. In this way, we increase mobility—whether in the city or the country—and protect the environment through careful use of the resources energy and fuel.

Our employees possess high-level technological industry expertise. They understand our customers’ processes and develop new strategies and solutions with continuous commitment. We have also been actively involved in research projects and associations for many years, as well as cooperating with expert IT partners. This optimally prepares us to configure the appropriate systems and help you to maintain your competitiveness.

PSItraffic/DMS (Depot Management System)

The system enables reliable operation while complying with the PTO’s specifications and requirements. The system ensures that buses and trams are ready for daily operations and are dispatched for the correct journey. It monitors and controls all processes in the depots – from the arrival of the vehicles, to their supply, repair, and parking – efficiently and in a way that saves resources and costs. An integrated, intelligent optimization for dispatching makes the best possible decisions in seconds and supports dispatchers in case of operational deviations.

PSItraffic/DMS enables PTO’s to digitize their depot processes, establish a continuous, digital workflow and integrate all areas of operations: the best way to begin mastering the many complex tasks in the depot.

PSIebus

PSIebus includes depot and charging or h2- “fuelling” management for emission free buses. The system is able to handle different drive technologies (diesel, electric, h2,..) in parallel operation. It monitors vehicles during operation, creates charging plans, controls charging processes and dispatches vehicles automatically. Based on AI technology it forecasts ranges, energy consumption and demand. It allocates vehicles to parking spaces and charging stations and automatically start preconditioning the vehicles. It monitors the electrical system in the depot and optimizes energy consumption.

PSItraffic/AVMS (Automatic Vehicle Management System)

PSItraffic/AVMS (Automatic Vehicle Management System) tracks the locations of all vehicles on the routes, compares them with the planned data and provides the dispatcher with a complete overview of operational processes. Using digital maps and graphical views, dispatchers quickly get an overview of the situation and make the right decisions in case of disruptions.

Real-time data provides passengers with information about their connections in the vehicles, at bus stops or via mobile devices.
