Rowgate Group is expanding its partnership with FlixBus with the launch of two additional Yutong coaches.
The first of these vehicles will commence operations from 20 May to deliver more scheduled coach services between Bristol, Reading and London. The second vehicle will then join the fleet in September.
Andreas Schorling, Managing Director of FlixBus UK said:Rowgate has been a fantastic partner, delivering quality and consistency for our customers. We have built a strong relationship and this has allowed us to expand together rapidly.
Rowgate Group includes Fernhill Travel, White Bus and Baileys Coaches. It first partnered with FlixBus in July 2023 to grow Flix’s long-distance coach network in the South of England.
Simon Rowland, Group CEO of Rowgate said:FlixBus has developed a really strong vision and identity which stands out in the market which is what initially attracted us to work with them.
We have already seen huge potential for growth through their model, so we were very keen to expand our partnership with FlixBus.
This announcement builds on FlixBus’s rapid growth across the UK. Recently, the company has also expanded its partnership with McGill’s Bus Group to add services to Inverness, Pitlochry, Aviemore in its Scottish network, alongside a dedicated Glasgow to Edinburgh route.
In the North of England, it has also collaborated with Belle Vue to provide additional services to York and Manchester Airport. From next week, this partnership will also launch routes between Manchester and Leicester.
Furthermore, an expanded partnership with Cymru Coaches has delivered a Bristol Airport service for Wales.
Schorling added:Recently reaching 3rd anniversary in the UK, I could not be prouder of the network growth we’re achieving with our operator partners. We are building for generations to come as the future of coach travel.
