HOLON has announced that it has received official recognition as a Transit Vehicle Manufacturer (TVM) in the United States.
Receipt of such a designation is known to be a key requisite for participating in public tenders.

The company, which manufactures the HOLON urban, a 15-passenger emission-free autonomous shuttle for line-operations and ride-pooling, is now planning a new production facility in Jacksonville, as well as a pilot project with the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA).
The mixed traffic route would be the first of its kind, connecting both residential and business areas to a sports and entertainment complex, with further extensions planned for later down the line.
Sven Herzig, Chief Sales Officer of HOLON, said:This recognition marks an important step for us.
It confirms that we are on the right regulatory path and creates the foundation for resilient partnerships with US transportation authorities.
Recently, HOLON and sister company Benteler Mobility entered a strategic partnership with bus mobility platform CharterUP to bring autonomous rides to everyday transportation.
