FlixBus has unveiled a specially designed coach to celebrate the launch of new routes connecting cities in Wales with Bristol, London and London Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.
The new routes will offer regular daily services between Swansea, Swansea University, Port Talbot, Bridgend, Cardiff, Newport, Bristol, London Heathrow and Gatwick Airport through a partnership with Newport Transport.
Although several FlixBus services already incorporate stops at major airports, this launch marks the start of FlixBus’ provision of ‘dedicated express airport routes’.
“We are making a strong statement of intent with this launch, that we are ready to take FlixBus to the next level. We can confidently say we’ve established an efficient and high-demand intercity coach network in the UK, and we are now boldly venturing into the airport market, adding a new demographic to our growing customer base.

This launch also further expands Newport Transport’s business to include express coach services, adding to its existing portfolio of local bus routes, school contracts, private hire and day trips.
The additional routes have further expanded the FlixBus network to serve over 60 destinations across the UK.
