The vehicles, which span use cases from premium tourism to high-end shuttle services, have been locally tailored to align with the country’s unique regulatory requirements, operational environments and long-term sustainability mandates.

Yutong’s C11E electric coach aims to offer a 530km range for premium green transit, whilst EURO VI-compliant diesel models (C9, C11, and C12), feature high-strength steel and cathodic electrophoretic anti-corrosion coating that strives to provide enhanced durability.

Also unveiled as part of the full Mexican lineup was the V6 Van, a vehicle designed to meet lightweight needs such as short-distance passenger transport, tourism, urban public transit and business shuttle services, as well as both the H9 and H10 vehicles, which aim to provide fuel savings of over 30% and offer flexible transition solutions for regions moving toward electrification.

During the event; Yutong highlighted its EV Long-Life Tech, which, applicable to pure electric vehicles, allows for a battery life of up to 15 years (or 1.5 million kilometres) with less than 30% degradation, reducing maintenance pressure and total cost of ownership (TCO).
