ZHONGTONG has launched a right hand drive (RHD) version of its H12 PLUS tourist bus at Euro Bus Expo 2026 in Birmingham.
The bus, which initially received its reveal at Busworld 2025 in Brussels, measures in at just over 12 metres in length, and is capable of carrying up to 53 passengers, with two additional spaces for wheelchair users.
Equipped with a DAF MX11 330 H3 engine; the vehicle offers a maximum speed of 100 km/h, and aims to ensure lower overall energy consumption via the use of a slew of fuel saving technologies and multi-level solutions, including its lightweight and totally integrated design philosophy.
The bus features a smart cockpit, as well as advanced driver-assistance systems – such as adaptive cruise control (ACC). Passengers can benefit from USB charging ports, 220V power sockets, and an integrated onboard toilet, and the vehicle is capable of travelling over 400km on a single charge.
