InnoTrans is an international trade fair for transport technology, held biennially in Berlin. The 2026 edition takes place from 21 to 24 September at the International Congress Center ICC Berlin, Messedamm, Berlin, Germany. The event is organised by Messe Berlin.

The Exhibition

InnoTrans brings together manufacturers, suppliers and operators from across the global transport and mobility sector. The exhibition covers a broad range of segments within transport technology, including railway infrastructure, vehicles, public transport, interiors and related services. A dedicated Outdoor Display and Bus Display provide space for large-scale vehicles and equipment that cannot easily be demonstrated indoors. The exhibition floor is complemented by a hall plan with clearly defined area focuses, allowing visitors to navigate by sector or interest.

The 2026 edition places particular emphasis on artificial intelligence and its application within the mobility sector. An AI Mobility Lab forms a distinct feature of the event, providing a space for demonstrations and discussion around AI-driven transport solutions. The Mobility+ segment addresses broader trends in integrated and sustainable mobility, while the Travel, Catering and Comfort Services (TCCS) strand covers passenger experience across transport modes. Sustainability is a crosscutting theme throughout the fair.

The Programme

InnoTrans 2026 includes a range of structured programme elements alongside the main exhibition. The InnoTrans Convention serves as the event’s central conference format, addressing strategic and technical issues facing the transport industry. Supporting programme highlights include the InnoTrans Hackathon, focused on AI applications in rail, the Railway Influencer Festival and the Mobility Cleaning Circle, a dialogue platform for professionals working on cleanliness and hygiene in mobility environments. The Women in Mobility Luncheon and Hospitality Forum are also scheduled, alongside a Talent Stage, Speakers’ Corner and a series of guided tours including Career Tours, World Innovation Tours and AI Tours.
