This launch aims to revitalise the local travel market by offering affordable prices and high safety standards.

André Schwämmlein, CEO of Flix said:

We are thrilled to officially welcome Chile as Flix’s 42nd country worldwide, and the second country in South America, following Brazil. Our mission is to provide sustainable and affordable travel options for everyone, and we see significant demand for such services in Chile. We are dedicated to providing consistent quality, safety standards and a seamless customer experience in every region where we operate, establishing a competitive market offering and more reliable choices for customers.

In recent years, the intercity travel industry in Chile has been impacted by pandemic shutdowns and rising prices, leading to an increased use of private cars. Flix consequently aims to reverse this effect and restore the market.
