InnoTrans 2026 will again feature a Bus Display, with vehicles presented in the Sommergarten alongside a 500-metre demonstration course.
The event, which takes place in Berlin from 22 to 25 September, currently lists Deutsche Bahn Regio and Škoda Transportation among the exhibitors participating in the Bus Display.
MAN Lion’s City 12 E
Deutsche Bahn Regio will present a MAN Lion’s City 12 E at InnoTrans 2026. The fully electric solo city bus is 12.2 metres long and is designed for urban public transport.
The vehicle uses battery-electric propulsion and is intended for daily operation on urban networks. Its presentation forms part of the event’s focus on the electrification of public transport.
Škoda Transportation
Škoda Transportation is also listed as a participant in the 2026 Bus Display. InnoTrans has confirmed that the company will present a vehicle in the Sommergarten, although the organiser’s current public information does not specify the bus model.
Škoda’s presence comes as the company expands its activities across both rail and public transport, with its wider InnoTrans programme also covering rail vehicles and mobility technologies.
The Bus Display is designed to allow manufacturers to demonstrate buses, alternative propulsion systems and charging solutions in operation. Vehicles can be driven on a 500-metre circuit, giving visitors the opportunity to see the technology in operation rather than only as a static exhibition.
The International Bus Forum on 24 September will also examine the rollout of electric, connected and autonomous public transport, while the wider Public Transport segment will address digitalisation, artificial intelligence and autonomous mobility.
InnoTrans has previously hosted a much broader range of bus manufacturers in the Bus Display. Further details on the vehicles and demonstrations may be released ahead of the opening on 22 September.
