IVECO Bus has signed a three-year framework agreement to supply up to 150 E-WAY electric city buses to FS Italiane Group’s Busitalia, which operates local public transport services in Italy.

This contract represents the largest order for E-WAY city buses in Italy to date.

The electric buses will be delivered between 2023 and 2025, with the first 18 vehicles arriving in the cities of Padua and Rovigo in July 2023.

Over 800 E-WAY buses are already in operation across Europe.

The 12-metre vehicles for Busitalia will be fitted with air conditioning, USB plugs and a rear-view vision system. They will be charged overnight in Busitalia depots.
