Karsan has announced a turnover increase of 11% in 2025 – totalling 330 million EUR.

The company, which generated 220 million EUR of turnover from electric vehicle sales, also saw a 43% overall increase in its exports to 197 million EUR.

Aiming to begin driverless, autonomous public transport operations in 2026; Karsan’s CEO Okan Baş has stated that the company aims to expand into new markets, putting a new focus on northern countries throughout the year. In particular, the company will seek to maintain their growth in Europe and begin operations in the Netherlands, Norway and Germany.

Baş also stated that Karsan, whilst aiming to increase its presence in the Spanish and Polish markets, will expand its electric vehicle fleet throughout Europe, exceeding 2,800 units and representing growth of more than 30%. In Europe, the company will focus on the expanded rollout of its 8-meter Autonomous e-ATAK, and, in the United States, it will further push its 6-meter Autonomous e-JEST.

The CEO also mentioned that the company intends to launch a brand-new electric vehicle by toward the end of 2026, as well as to initiate fully driverless operations in Stavanger by Q3.

Karsan CEO Okan Baş said:

We increased our total turnover by 11% compared to 296 million EUR in 2024. Electric vehicles account for 220 million EUR of this figure. Thus, we enhanced our electric vehicle turnover by 59 million EUR.

Our electric vehicle turnover, which delivered a significant growth of 37%, also accounted for 67% of our total turnover. Last year, we increased our export turnover by 43 % to
197 million EUR. We boosted our EBITDA from 32 million EUR in 2024 to 54 million last year.
