Nicholson Coachbuilders, part of Woodall Nicholson Ltd (the parent company of Treka Bus and Mellor), has launched a set of three brand-new luxury and VIP small coaches at Euro Bus Expo 2026 in Birmingham.
The company launched the new Altair, Horizon and Meridian products during the event, all of which aim to lean on over 200 years of heritage and coachbuilding experience.

Each of the three models are based on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Iveco Daily platforms. The Nicholson Altair is built utilising the Sprinter 519, and was conceived as a ‘private lounge in motion’. The vehicle features double-glazing, acoustic insulation, heated, cooled and massage seating, integrated tables, multimedia systems, refreshments and cabin ambience controls.

The Meridian also sits on a Sprinter 519 chassis, and, seating 19 passengers, it aims to combine manoeuvrability with a premium passenger environment and an expanded luggage capacity. The vehicle was designed with hotel, airport and city transfers in mind, as well as private tours.

Finally, the Horizon provides a similar performance and interior impression as the Meridian. It is capable of carrying up to 29 passengers, as well as luggage, and has been developed to suit longer-distance journeys.
Euro Bus Expo 2026 marks the company’s first foray into the UK coach industry, allowing it to demonstrate what commissioned coachbuilding might be able to offer the premium passenger market.
