Norway: Nobina Orders 64 BYD Electric Buses for Nedre Glomma

Nobina Fleet Norge has ordered 64 low-floor BYD electric buses to be delivered in Norway in Q2 2023.

Under this contract, 40 12-metre and 24 15-metre electric buses will enter service on Nobina’s routes in the region of Nedre Glomma.

These units will feature BYD’s iron-phosphate battery technology which has been developed to increase safety, performance and range.

The 12-metre vehicles will offer range of up to 450 kilometres on a single charge, while the 15-metre buses will travel up to 400 kilometres on each charge.

With this order, Nobina now has 300 BYD electric buses in service or on order across Sweden, Norway and Finland.
