GZM (Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowska Metropolia) has officially presented its brand-new fleet of 31 Irizar ie buses, all of which will soon begin operating in the cities of Sosnowiec, Świerklaniec, Katowice and Gliwice.
The new fleet consists of 16 articulated 18-metre buses and 15 standard 12-metre buses.

Introduction of the fully electric buses is expected to facilitate a quieter, more efficient and environmentally friendly public transport service, with each vehicle capable of travelling up to 300km on a single charge.
