Go-Ahead Singapore has started operating brand new bus services in Tampines, marking a major milestone in Singapore’s green transport initiatives.
The new wave of services follows a leap in mobilisation of a new contract, awarded by Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA).

Working from the new contract, Go-Ahead Singapore will now operate 400 buses serving 29 routes from the brand new five-storey East Coast Bus Depot over two waves in July 2026. They will serve key transport hubs including Tampines Bus Interchange, Tampines Concourse Bus Interchange, Tampines North Bus Interchange and Changi Business Park Bus Terminal.
Go-Ahead Group is a huge figure in zero-emission transport and will push forward this great innovation to the Singapore market as they introduce 260 zero emission buses into service. It will also bring forward its experience in performing world-class Operational Control Centres, which includes real time battery health and its performance on the streets across the network to make sure that all service levels are uninterrupted for the public.
Not just safe, trustworthy and sustainable journeys, clients will be receiving a huge range of initiatives designed to enhance all of their travelling experiences, incudling brand new extremely inclusive facilities at interchanges and community-focused programmes.
Go-Ahead Singapore has now grown to over 2,000 colleagues with a fleet of 900 buses.
Go-Ahead Bus CEO, Matt Carney, said:This is a proud and exciting moment for Go-Ahead as we begin operating in Tampines, almost doubling our presence in Singapore. This is our tenth year of operating in Singapore and we're incredibly grateful to the LTA for their continued partnership.
We're delighted to bring our expertise in zero-emission transport and innovation to Tampines and look forward to supporting Singapore's ambitions for a greener public transport network.
