These latest contracts marks the latest in a line of significant orders placed by Nobina over the last two years, as the operator seeks to expand its bus fleet in Sweden with Solaris vehicles.

Initially, 50 vehicles will begin operation in Stockholm, 49 in Skåne and 4 within the vicinity of Göteborg.

Sverre Skaar, CEO of Solaris Sverige AB, said:

The contract for 103 electric buses ordered by Nobina marks another important milestone in the development of sustainable bus transport in Sweden. Choosing the Urbino 15 LE electric means choosing zero emissions, but above all, comfort.

We are very proud that Nobina has once again placed its trust in us, and we look forward to further developing our existing partnership.

Solaris has been cooperating with Nobina since 2010, and since 2024, the company has delivered a total of 2o1 buses to the Swedish operator.
