A six-vehicle Setra convoy operated by Norwegian coach company Team Tour completed a nine-day tour through Germany, including a scheduled stop at the Daimler Buses customer centre in Neu-Ulm.
The journey brought together 44 passengers and seven drivers and featured coaches representing successive generations of the Setra product range.

Boundless confidence
The convoy comprised models spanning from the historic S 9 through to current TopClass and ComfortClass vehicles. Line-up highlights included an S 215 HD, S 315 HD, S 416 HDH and S 515 HD, alongside an S 140 from the 100 series.
The S 140 holds particular historical significance as the first Setra coach delivered to Norway in 1976. The vehicle, originally supplied to operator Herbrand Haraldseth, has been part of the Team Tour fleet since its acquisition in 2001.
Team Tour, based in Drammen near Oslo, operates seven Setra touring coaches and runs services across Scandinavia and wider European markets. The convoy event served to highlight the development of the Setra product line over five decades of coach manufacturing.
Jan Såtvedt, owner of Team Tour said:A journey in a Setra is always an experience—for both passengers and drivers.
Alongside the convoy activity, Setra reported two separate customer deliveries in Europe.
Belgian operator De Zigeuner, based in Diepenbeek, has taken delivery of its first Setra touring coach, an S 516 HDH from the TopClass range. The vehicle is specified with 51 Ambassador seats, a panoramic glass roof, USB-A and USB-C charging points, integrated passenger entertainment screens, and a suite of driver assistance systems. Safety equipment includes MirrorCam technology and a 360-degree camera system.
De Zigeuner Managing Director Tom De Troyer said:With this investment, De Zigeuner underscores its commitment to delivering a premium travel experience today and in the future. Our customers travel at their own pace. We place great value on the small extras that make the difference.
In Switzerland, Gössi Carreisen AG has taken delivery of a Setra S 517 HDH TopClass coach. The vehicle is configured with 54 seats, a glass panoramic roof, and the latest driver assistance and safety systems, including MirrorCam.
Founded in 1975 in Horw in the canton of Lucerne, Gössi Carreisen AG introduced its first Setra vehicle in the early 1980s and now operates a fleet of 17 coaches across European operations. The company remains family-owned and is currently managed by the second generation, continuing a long-standing partnership with Setra and Daimler Buses.
These developments underline ongoing demand for high-specification touring coaches in European markets, with operators continuing to prioritise safety systems, passenger comfort features and long-term fleet partnerships.
