The tender, which is valued at 12.9 million EUR, also includes the installation of a charging station with 15 double charging points at the Via Norte Depot.

STCP launched the tender on Monday 27 January 2025 and expects the tender to be fulfilled by Q2 2026
Cristina Pimentel, Chair of the STCP Board of Directors, said:

STCP is committed to leading the transition towards more sustainable and efficient public transport.

The launch of this tender for 30 fully electric standard buses represents another concrete step in our commitment to clean mobility, benefiting the quality of life of our passengers and the communities in which we operate.

The contract calls for the supply of 30 12 metre-long fully electric buses with a minimum range of 320km, with expectations for the delivery to be fulfilled by Q2 2026.

The fulfilment of the tender will bring the operator’s total number of zero-emission buses to 126.
