German bus and coach operator Geldhauser Linien- und Reiseverkehr GmbH & Co has announced the purchase of ten new S 515 LE low-entry buses from the Setra MultiClass range.

All ten S 515 LE vehicles are equipped with driver assistance and safety features from Daimler Buses, such as the two-axle feature Sideguard Assist 2, which aims to support drivers on both sides of the vehicle in critical turning situations where visibility may be restricted. It also seeks to helps detect moving obstacles within the system’s limits when turning or changing lanes before warning the driver accordingly.
The introduction of the new vehicles will mark the first time that express bus routes operated by Geldhauser will directly connect the regions south of Munich with the towns of Murnau, Penzberg, Bad Tölz, Miesbach, and Rosenheim along the Alpine corridor, eliminating the need to travel via the metropolitan area.
