Firstly, Art Reisen company Ludwig Arzt will provide Lufthansa AG with a set of two new Setra ComfortClass vehicles, both of which will enter operation on the Munich-Nuremberg route.

The vehicles will be used to provide ten journeys per day, and transport passengers from Munich Airport in Erdinger Moos to Nuremberg Airport, covering 350,000 kilometres each year.

With two-axles, the buses will be designed with Lufthansa branding in mind, and will be equipped with 40 seats, as well as the latest safety assistance systems, including Attention Assist (AtAs), which warns the driver of potential distractions or fatigue.

Elsewhere, Ehrlich Reisen has chosen to modernise its fleet with the addition of two new three-axle Setra coaches – comprised of a set of ComforClass S 516 HD models. Each vehicle will possess 48 seats, and be equipped with adjustable leather headrests and footrests.

Managing Director Stefan Ehrlich said:

Setra coaches combine comfort, elegance, and quality at the highest level, ensuring that our passengers feel at ease from the very first minute.

We want our drivers and passengers to always travel safely.

These new coaches will be used both for charter services for companies, clubs or schools and the company’s own travel programme, which offers day trips, study trips or individual group tours.

Finally, Norwegian bus company Jenssen Mobility has added two new S 515 HD buses to its fleet. These ComfortClass vehicles will be equipped with 49 seats and be used for a wide range of purposes, including charter services, rail replacement services, corporate events, school transport, and tourist trips.

The order brings the Fjellhamar-based company’s fleet of Setra vehicles to 12, having been a customer since 2013.
