LION E-Mobility has won a contract worth over 12 million EUR to supply battery technology for Karsan’s electric buses.
This contract includes around 6 million EUR in firm orders for battery packs to be delivered in 2024.
Additionally, a floating component valued at around 6 million EUR provides flexibility in line with Karsan’s evolving needs and the rapidly expanding market for electric buses. This further order is also expected to be delivered in 2024.

Through this partnership, Karsan will equip its electric buses with LION E-Mobility’s battery packs. This technology has been designed to offer greater energy density and fast-charging capabilities to optimise efficiency and extend the operational range of electric buses in urban environments.
