Articulation Systems

Articulation systems for articulated (bendy) buses are mounted on the front or rear vehicle segments. An articulation system comprises a bearing, the system control and damping elements. Articulation systems can be adapted to accommodate a variety of axle loads.

Another aspect of an articulation system is the folding bellows. Lastly, there is the power connection system, which can be located in several different locations in the bus gangway and even outside the bus. These systems comprise components such as cables and housing.

This section lists suppliers who provide articulation and gangway systems for buses and coaches.
