The three new Yutong E13s are now serving passengers on routes 70 and 72 in Transdev’s Howick and Eastern region.

Electric Buses Auckland
The Yutong E13 electric bus was specifically developed for the New Zealand market

These vehicles expand Transdev’s fleet of electric vehicles operating in New Zealand, adding to the 10 electric buses running on its Metlink Airport Express service in Wellington.

Peter Lensink, Transdev New Zealand Chief Officer said:

Transdev is proud to be partnering with Auckland Transport and local bus supplier JW Group for this latest delivery, supporting sustainable public transport in Auckland.

Locally and globally, we back greener transport fleets which are better for communities, customers and provides greater job opportunities.

Our goal is to help New Zealand cut emissions in half by 2030 and achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
