Having first worked together in 2005; City View and ENC have supplied almost 90 E-Z Rider II ® buses to YRT – with these new vehicles set to support YRT’s conventional fixed-route service across the Regional Municipality of York in Ontario, Canada.

The 32-foot length models have been chosen to provide specific services on routes where 40-foot buses are not suitable.

Jason Lee, Chief Executive Officer of ENC, said:

York Region Transit serves a growing community, and we are proud they have chosen ENC to help carry that service forward.

The E-Z Rider II is engineered for exactly this kind of work, and this order reflects the confidence transit agencies across North America are placing in our products, our people, and our delivery.

YRT provides public transport services for the Regional Municipality of York, which is comprised of a set of nine municipalities with a population surpassing 1.2 million and located just north of Toronto in Ontario, Canada.

The operator provides conventional fixed-route, express and on-demand services, connecting communities throughout the region and delivering almost 24 million rides per year.

All new buses will be manufactured at ENC’s facility in Jurupa Valley, a 227,000-square-foot operation encompassing production, from frame welding to final inspection.
