Monmouthshire County Council’s highways department has once again turned to Totalkare for commercial vehicle testing equipment, purchasing an in-ground brake tester for its workshop.
The Council, which maintains a fleet of municipal waste and passenger transport vehicles, has continued its relationship with the UK’s lifting and testing experts with the latest investment designed to support efficient, accurate brake testing in-house ahead of MOT inspections.
The new in-ground brake tester provides a permanent testing solution within the Council’s workshop, offering the capability to test commercial vehicles accurately and efficiently. Totalkare has also facilitated the associated groundworks required for the installation, providing the Council with a complete solution from initial preparation through to installation of the testing equipment.
The DVSA-approved brake tester is suitable for testing a wide range of commercial vehicles and is designed to provide accurate and reliable brake performance measurements. Its integration into the workshop will allow the Council’s team to carry out essential testing processes on-site, helping to reduce vehicle downtime and maximise fleet availability.
The latest investment builds on an established relationship between Monmouthshire County Council and Totalkare. The Council has previously purchased a four-post lift, mobile brake tester and headlamp tester from Totalkare, making the latest investment a natural continuation of its use of Totalkare equipment within its workshop operations.
