Reisedienst Bölck GmbH in Schuby in the German federal state of Schleswig-Holstein has purchased a new S 516 HD Setra touring coach.
It has 44 seats for passengers.
Further, it is equipped with a new ‘Active Drive Assist 2’ driver assistance system. It uses continual steering interventions to keep the vehicle in a set position within a lane, allowing the driver to hand over one of the dynamic driving tasks to the vehicle. The operational design domain for this feature is for all speed ranges.
Mathias Bölck, Managing Director, Bölck GmbH, said:For us, this steering assistant represents a significant increase in safety for drivers and passengers.
There are four cameras at the front, rear and above the side window to further contribute to the vehicle’s safety. The cameras provide the driver with an indirect 360-degree view from a bird’s eye perspective.
Regarding the vehicle design, this Setra touring coach features “a three-dimensional brand lettering in chrome on a glossy black background”.
Reisedienst Bölck offers day trips as well as bicycle and long-distance trips throughout Europe. This new purchase increases the company’s fleet of Setra touring coaches to 13.
