Tata Motors has delivered 400 Starbus electric buses to the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) via its subsidiary, TML CV Mobility Solutions Ltd.
This is part of a larger order from DTC for the supply and operation of 1,500 low-floor, air-conditioned electric buses.
With this deployment, Tata Motors has now delivered over 1,000 e-buses across India.
The new fleet of 400 electric buses was inaugurated by Shri. Vinai Kumar Saxena, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi on 5 September.

The Tata Starbus EV has a fully electric drivetrain that optimises energy consumption.
The new vehciles are also equipped with electronic stability control, electronic brake distribution, air suspension, an Intelligent Transport System and a panic button.
