During InnoTrans 2022, 14 buses will be on display at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, including the latest models from Solaris, Ebusco and Škoda.

Throughout the world trade show, which is taking place 20–23 September, Bus Display exhibitors will present their vehicles, alternative drive systems and charging infrastructure.

Visitors will also be able to experience test rides on a 500-metre demonstration course.

Solaris Urbino 18 Hydrogen Bus

Solaris Bus & Coach will be presenting its Solaris Urbino 18 hydrogen, an 18-metre long bus with hydrogen as its main energy source.

This will be the first time the Urbino 18 is presented at a trade fair.

As on the Urbino 12, the Urbino 18 will be equipped with fuel cells that convert the hydrogen fuel into power.

Ebusco 3.0 and 2.2

Ebusco will unveil the all-electric 3.0 city bus, which the Dutch manufacturer says ‘redefines current design boundaries’.

In addition, the company will display the Ebusco 2.2, 90 of which are being supplied to the city of Berlin.

The first of these units was driven 636.8 kilometres from the Ebusco HQ to Berlin without needing to be recharged.

Peter Bijvelds, managing director of Ebusco said;

We recently delivered the first of 90 Ebusco buses to Germany’s largest public transport company. We hope that lots of companies will follow this example and purchase emissions-free buses, so that as an industry we can operate safe and climate-neutral services over even longer distances. We are happy to be back at InnoTrans. It is a great opportunity to meet many industry colleagues again and present our innovations.

Škoda T’CITY 36TR and H’CITY

The Škoda T’CITY 36TR is a 100% low-floor trolleybus bus featuring a new body that has been produced by Škoda’s sister company, Tesma.

Škoda will also present the Škoda H’CITY, which is a new hydrogen bus equipped with PEM fuel cells and batteries.

These vehicles are being produced as part of Škoda’s New Energy Vehicles programme.

Van Hool

Belgian manufacturer Van Hool will present its A12 battery-electric bus, which is part of the company’s new A series range that has been designed for urban and regional transport.

VDL

Furthermore, VDL will be unveiling its new Citea range. These vehicles will feature floor-mounted batteries and intelligent energy management systems.

Other exhibitors at the InnoTrans Bus Display will include Karsan Automotive, OTOKAR Europe, SBRS, K-Bus, Ventura Systems, Altas Auto, Kiepe Electric and Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane.
