ALBUM exists to provide a forum to exchange best practice among its members and to influence policy, for the promotion of high quality services that encourage more people to travel by bus.
There are around 150 members representing the municipal and independent bus operators in the UK and ALBUM provides a networking opportunity for teams in the bus industry, to share best practice and to respond to government consultations affecting the industry. There are separate marketing, engineering, finance and operation groups which meet regularly.
We also have associate members for those suppliers who support the industry. Each year we hold a conference and other opportunities for suppliers and operator members to get together and work to build a better bus industry.

Any Executive Director or Senior Manager of a municipal, independent or wholly British Isles state owned bus company operating local bus services in the British Isles including the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands, with a record of consistent high quality operation may apply to ALBUM for membership.
