‘Infotainment’, a portmanteau of ‘information’ and ‘entertainment’ gives passengers both relevant journey information as well as access to entertainment services, such as television, music and radio in order to increase passenger experience. Passenger Information
Passenger information, given to passengers on dedicated passenger information displays or directly to their smartphones via apps etc. allows passengers to plan their journeys, find out timetables and get information about delays, cancellations or other disruptions.
